"Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; There is no Chance, Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law." Tehuti.
Question: what was the symbol of cause & effect in the Kemetian Mysteries?
Answer: The symbol was both Heru (Horus) and Tehuti (Thoth) performing the symbolic rite of Uniting of the Two Lands.
Question: what does the two lands represent?
Answer: the two lands represent the Subjective Realm, and the Objective Manifest Realm.
Question: what does Heru & Tehuti represent in cause & effect?
Answer: Heru (Horus) represents conscience and will, which is identified with the heart or Kheper, the 4th Chakra in man. Tehuti on the other hand represents deliverance and manifestation, and is identified with the tongue. This combined action of the "heart" and the "tongue" governs all living organisms, and each action voluntary of involuntary is the result of cause & effect.
Question: on what tomb wall can we find this symbol?
Answer: this universal symbol of cause & effect can be found on the Kemetian Stele of Shabaka (716-701 BCE). It translates "The Heart and the Tongue have power over all the Neteru (gods, angels, Elohim), all men, all cattle, all creeping things, all that lives. The heart thinks all that it wishes, and the tongue delivers all that it wishes".
Question: can you explain what it means in the human being?
Answer: yes, in human terms the cause or the will which is symbolized by Heru, must be "knotted" or united and balanced with the effect which is symbolized by Tehuti, this must take place in all of our actions. What you say from your heart is delivered by the tongue, and becomes a part of your Karmic orbit.
Question can you explain the Law of of Cause and Effect?
Answer: Cause & Effect is a Universal Principle which embodies the fact that there is a Cause for every Effect; and an Effect from every Cause. The Ancient Kemetians explained that: "Everything happens according to Law"; that nothing ever "merely happens"; that there is no such thing as Chance; that while there are various planes of Cause and Effect (Karma), or the higher dominating the lower planes, even though nothing ever entirely escapes the Law.
As Kemetian Mystics we overstand the science and methods of rising above the ordinary plane of Cause and Effect or Karmic Law, to a certain degree, and by mentally rising to a higher plane we become Causers instead of being Effected.
Question: what do you mean?
Answer: what you have to realize is the masses of the people are carried along through life, obedient to environment or the wills and desires of others which are stronger than themselves; this is heredity; or passed down from generation to generation.
Question: can you give us an example?
Answer: yes, people are influenced mostly by outward causes that move them around like pawns on the chessboard of life. But when one regains the ancient knowledge of the Masters they are able to rise up to the plane above, which gives the Master the ability to control moods, character-attributes, develop higher powers, and control the energy of the environment surrounding them. The Master is the mover and not the pawn in the game of life.
Question: are you saying we are just pawns in the game of life?
Answer: I'm saying so many people are in a Karmic orbit not of there own choosing, but it is when you master the principle of Karma or Cause & Effect you begin to map out your life and cause the events that you "will" to happen in your life, instead of being played and moved around by other wills and environment. They use the Principle of Cause and effect on you instead of being its tools. Now its time for you to make your own moves, and control the game of life.
